  DailyGame Review: MotoGP 2 [Xbox]
MotoGP was frequently hailed as "the way a racing sim ought to be" for its mix of solid physics, diverse tracks, spot-on gameplay and picture-perfect visuals.
MotoGP 2 is not for the faint of heart, and while it’s beautiful to look at, luxuriously detailed and its sim qualities are deeper than the ocean, you may find it’s just a tad too difficult at times.
The core of both the original MotoGP and this freshly updated version is the career mode, which allows you to enjoy all the technical details of a professional racing career.

 WORTHPLAYING - - All about games !
The original MotoGP game for the Xbox was one of many unsung Xbox games of the last year, which brought the speed and thrills of motorcycle racing along with a rich graphics engine, an immersive sound engine, and (best of all) Xbox Live support via a free addon.
MotoGP 2 has been around for a little while now and right now there are two groups of people, racing fans that have played the MotoGP games and love them and racing fans that need to go out and rent them at the very least.
MotoGP 2 also shines in the special effects department, with rain and mist spattering the windshield in the first person view, tires kicking up grass when a bike goes for a little off-roading, and the sparks and scratches when a driver loses control and pancakes his bike onto the tarmac.

MotoGP 3 furthers Namco’s last attempt by adding several key features that help add to the gameplay, and more bells and whistles to keep you at the handlebars.
Red and white side markers reflect over bikes and helmets, colors are more vibrant, and the cockpit view puts you right on the bike, with a full view of bike instrumentation and glare reflecting off the bike’s shield.
MotoGP 3 is a solid racer worthy of any motorcycle fans’ attention.

MotoGP is the premier motorcycle road racing series in the world.
The circuits at which MotoGP races must receive certification from the International Motorcycle Federation, meaning the surface must be excellent, the run-off areas must be large because of the speed of the machines and the painted curbing on the tracks must be the same texture as the asphalt.
MotoGP is popular in Europe, especially in Spain and Italy, where Hayden has quickly become a superstar.

Grand Prix motorcycle racing - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
From the mid-1970s until 2002 the top class of GP racing was restricted to four cylinders and 500 cc, regardless of whether the engine was a two-stroke or four-stroke.
As a result, MotoGP machines are generally made of lightweight and expensive materials such as titanium and carbon-fiber-reinforced plastic.
The current MotoGP speed record of 347.4 km/h (215.864 mph) was set by Loris Capirossi on a Ducati Desmosedici GP4 at IRTA Tests in Catalunya in 2004.

The most important new addition to the MotoGP series this year is online play, which allows for eight-player races on any of the tracks in any of the three classes.
MotoGP 4 is a late entry into a very crowded field of racing games for the PlayStation 2.

MotoGP re-creates the fast, dangerous world of bike racing better than any other game out there, with spot-on physics and a control scheme that’s both newbie friendly and deep enough for the grizzled two-wheel veteran all at the same time.
With MotoGP 3, the developers at Climax have loosened their ties a little by including “extreme” modes that give you some of the over-the-top antics of an arcade racer.
Still, if MotoGP 3 wants to be Gran Turismo on two wheels, the bikes need to look quite a bit sexier—as it is now, the game lacks the visual realism you’d associate with a simulation.

The MotoGP career mode and the numerous classes of the Extreme circuit mode make for plenty of racing action, but how this is drip fed to you might be annoying for some people.
MotoGP '06 sticks to what it knows, so you have a very similar set-up to what has been seen in the last three titles.
MotoGP '06 is a fine game for the Xbox 360, but its technical shortcomings aren't good at all.

Because of this, the handling of MotoGP's bikes is apparent right from the get-go, and it's safe to say that the difficulty level will play a big part in how your bike gets around the track.
MotoGP 4 will feature four "classes" of bikes to ride: 125cc, 250cc, full-spec MotoGP rides, and a number of MotoGP Legends (which we assume you'll have to unlock to access).
The sense of speed is certainly more measured in MotoGP 4 than in some of its arcade competitors, but that seems like a calculated move on Namco's part, as we didn't notice any obvious frame rate issues when playing the game.

Review - Moto GP // PSP /// Eurogamer
MotoGP on the PSP is almost the same game as on the home console - that’s Sony’s home console, and Namco Bandai’s MotoGP 4, not Microsoft’s home console and THQ’s MotoGP 2006, since the two are entirely different games that are totally unrelated to each other.
It’s a shame there’s not a Gran Turismo-style, or indeed MotoGP 4-style riding school to take new riders through their paces - riding a bike is much more challenging than driving a car, and very different in terms of how to take bends and corners.
There is a brake assist mode that basically does your braking for you, allowing beginners to concentrate on nothing other than the racing line (and even with the brake assist mode turned on, most beginners will still have a reasonably tough time).

MotoGP (PSP) Reviews. PSP Games Reviews by CNET.
MotoGP is a good technical racing game, but the small selection of tracks and rigid artificial intelligence take some of the variety and excitement out of it.
MotoGP for the PSP contains all the riders from the 2005 MotoGP season, so you can race as or try to defeat riders like Valentino Rossi from Italy, Sete Gibernau from Spain, Makoto Tamada from Japan, and many more.
MotoGP does offer a respectable challenge on the normal and hard difficulty modes, regardless of whether you're using the arcade or sim settings.

 GameSpy: MotoGP 4 Review
While it looks like MotoGP 2006 could be the cream of the motorcycle-racing-sim crop this year in terms of looks and features, MotoGP 4 is a strong candidate for gamers who don't have an Xbox 360.
If you're not a racing fan you won't really notice, but if this is the case you probably won't appreciate that real riders have been included in the first place.
MotoGP 4 deserves props for its tutorial mode, which gives you a visible line to follow and lets you know the correct timing for braking, rather than throwing you into a challenge and giving you a trial-by-pavement.

The press room at the Estoril circuit was packed to the rafters with journalists and members of rival teams, as they heard from the men behind the radically designed X3 machine: Mario Illien, Eskil Suter, Steve Miller and their rider for these two events, former GP winner Garry McCoy.
Of course they have a lot of hard work ahead of them compared to the well established teams but given all of Ilmor’s experience I think they will have a good chance next year to battle the other teams, to be in the middle or maybe even better than that.
