Mount Sinai’s unusual expertise in microvascular surgery makes it possible to transplant bones and muscles—along with their tiniest blood vessels—to the damaged, dysfunctional, or infected area of the body.
As a result, Mount Sinai is an international leader in endoscopic surgery for the removal of parathyroid and thyroid tumors and in laparoscopic living donor nephrectomy—a procedure that dramatically reduces recovery time for individuals who donate a kidney.
Mount Sinai is also at the forefront in the evaluation of advances in robotic vascular surgery and laparoscopic vascular surgery, and it is currently investigating the use of angiogenic growth factors to improve the healing of complex wounds.

It was a representative of the British Government, George Vancouver, who first recorded the discovery of Mount Rainier and gave to it the name.
After Dr. Tolmie's expedition to Mount Rainier, and after the expressed desire of Lieutenant Charles Wilkes (1841) to investigate the volcanic cone at the summit of the mountain, there is no further record of any interest in scaling the peak until the late '50's.
Mount Rainier National Park was created on March 2, 1899, and since that time, the number of visitors to Mount Rainier has increased so that individuals other than prominent people are not recorded.

Park, 35, told his professor he would be looking that day for the Mount Diablo buckwheat, adding that he thought it still existed but that he doubted he would be the one to find it.

Skiing the Pacific Ring of Fire and Beyond: Mount Discovery
Mount Discovery is yet another spectacular volcanic cone which can be seen from McMurdo Station, located only 40 miles (65 km) southwest of the base on the shore of the mainland.
Discovery rises straight up from the edge of the Ross Ice Shelf for over 8500 vertical feet (2600 m), with a relatively uneroded form that belies its true age of over 5 million years.
The northeast slopes (which face McMurdo Station) are relatively bare of snow and ice, while the glaciers on the south side rise smoothly up to the dome-like summit and would provide the best route for a ski ascent and descent.

Skiing the Pacific Ring of Fire and Beyond: Mount Morning
Mount Morning lies just to the southwest of Mount Discovery, with their summits only about 20 miles (30 km) apart and their flanks joined by a broad 3500 ft (1100 m) high saddle.
Although Mount Morning is much less visible from most common viewpoints (especially from Ross Island), it is roughly the same size as Discovery and is in fact slightly higher.
The similarity ends there, though, as Morning is topped by a 3 mile (5 km) wide summit caldera and tests have revealed that it is the oldest volcano in the entire Erebus region, over 14 million years old (almost three times the age of Mount Discovery).

CNN - Book claims discovery of Mount Sinai - Feb. 25, 1998
Now, getting into Mount Sinai in Saudi Arabia is a very complicated procedure because the Saudi government will not allow archaeologists in there.
This means that if there were ever to be a war between Saudi Arabia and the State of Israel, war would be coordinated, in part, from the radar towers on Mount Sinai and the state of Israel would have no choice but to attack the installation on what many scholars believe is Mount Sinai.
If what these two men have found is the real Mount Sinai, then it goes a long way to proving that the Bible is a true story that is based on historical events and Jabal al Lawz, a mountain in northwest Saudi Arabia, becomes perhaps the holiest spot in the world.
