The MMT consists of 6 identical 72–in/183–cm reflecting telescopes mounted in a hexagonal array on a common mounting and feeding their images to a single focus.
Also at Mt. Hopkins are a 60–in/152–cm and a 394–in/10–m dish with 248 small mirrors used for gamma-ray astronomy observations.

Zion Mount Moriah applied for membership to the Gethsemane Association, II Division (Pee Dee Association) during 1877 and was accepted making it an official member of the Baptist E and M Convention.
The seventh pastor called by Zion Mount Moriah in 1895 was Reverend Spencer Adams, the son of Reverend William W. Adams, the first fl Baptist minister in lower Richland County.

The Johns Hopkins University has signed a letter of intent to pursue the purchase of the 68-acre Mount Washington Corporate Campus from The St. Paul Companies.
The Mount Washington purchase continues a series of university moves intended to keep new Johns Hopkins jobs within the city.
Johns Hopkins would start moving employees into the 90,000 square feet of non-St. Paul space on the southern end late this year or early next year, starting with a computer center and Johns Hopkins Medicine Access Services, both now located in East Baltimore.
