While a small crowd of fascinated employees watched, the 1,400-pound (635 kilogram) statue shrouded in packing blankets and plastic wrap was lifted from the back of a pickup truck with a crane, swung high above the College buildings, and deposited gently in front of the recreation centre several hundred metres away.
The bronze, which is hollow and reinforced with stainless steel, is “heroic size,” explains Taylor, who was at Mount Royal last week to oversee the installation and attend Pearls of Wisdom.

This reasoning is based on the assumption that self-recognition represents a valid operationalization of self-awareness; I present two views that challenge this rational.
