This document is significant because it covers a period of substantial change in the marsh economy on the Tantramar.
The demand for marsh hay declined dramatically in the first decades of the twentieth century, mainly as a result of the huge increase in automobiles after World War I, but also as a result of the Tantramar economy being exposed to competition from other agricultural producers.
The Walter Dixon cashbook captures many of these changes, as seen through the eyes of a Commissioner of Sewers and reflected in the statistics of work done on marsh dyking and drainage.

I do not know the specifics, but it sounds like he was on some old snow and ice from some early winter storms, in the north facing couloir that has developed a nasty reputation.

Walter I. Dixon (1872-1963) was the son of Samuel Edgar and Emma (Carter) Dixon, and grandson of James D. Dixon, descendants of Charles and Susannah (Coates) Dixon, Yorkshire settlers who emigrated to Sackville, New Brunswick in 1772.
He was educated in the Sackville schools and Mount Allison Academy.
He was a farmer, and lived in his grandfather's home on Charles Street, the property including all the land where Beal Heights is today.

We didn't have any problems with OCFS V1 and since we only created an empty mount point with OCFS V2, we didn't have any issues there either.
We recreated the empty mount point and actually untarred an Oracle Home to it.
Any assistance is appreciated as we want to test OCFS V2 and also have a shared Oracle Home.

 Taos County High Point Trip Report
Once back on the ridge we had a wonderful view of Horeshoe Lake to the East and it was a quick slog up to the summit of the very humorous Mount Walter.
Coming up out of the saddle between Wheeler and Walter, the trail actually splits and what appears to be the "main trail" actually avoids the summit and skirts Wheeler below and to the east.
There is actually a faint trail that leaves the main trail at the saddle between Walter and Wheeler and heads due west.
