It is right on the edge of the southern side of the Rivulet, and it consists of a large flat area with a chimney base and some foundation rubble, and some pieces of broken and burnt crockery and glassware, also clock part, barrel hoops, pipe etc.
At least two Wellington Huts were built on the same location on the southern side of the Myrtle Gully Track.
The first was built in the early 1890's, and was moved away for the purpose of building the second in the early 1900's.
