MountainBrook High School is a three-year public high school in the Birmingham, Alabamasuburb of MountainBrook.
Incorporated in 1942, MountainBrook is located in Jefferson County (North Region), where the population estimate for July 1, 1998 was 18,497, a decrease of 1,313 since 1990.
MountainBrook is a particularly affluent suburb of Birmingham, and is among the wealthiest cities in the United States.
It is the hometown of Friends actress Courteney Cox and was home to Natalee Holloway, who went missing on May 30, 2005 while on a senior class trip to Aruba with 124 other classmates from MountainBrook High School.
