Zap2it.com - Movie review - The Mudge Boy
Just because farm boy Duncan Mudge (Emile Hirsch) recently lost his mother doesn't mean he gets a free pass from community bullies.

On one level, the simplicity of "The Mudge Boy" becomes its greatest weakness -- it's a one-note story told with a recurring motif (live chicken in mouth) that functions as narrative bookends.
