		Point Mugu (pronounced "muh-GOO"), California is a geographical promontory on the Pacific coast in Ventura County, near the cities of Port Hueneme and Oxnard.
		The facility adjacent to Point Mugu was developed in the late 1940s as the U.S. Navy's major missile development and test facility.
		Outside of the naval base, there is also Point Mugu State Park, which is a popular site for viewing birds, marine mammals, and wildflowers and provides about 15,000 acres (61 km²) of protected land including beaches, riparian areas, and coastal hills and canyons.

		A Google search for "mugu@mugu.com" or "guestbook mugu" currently shows over eleven thousand entries in various guestbooks with the "From:" address being specified as "mugu@mugu.com".
		It remains unclear how the scammers generate such an enormous amount of entries, although judging from a few IP addresses shown in the guestbooks, it looks to be at least a few people involved.
		The word mugu is a Nigerian pidgin word that means fool.

		With a little research, I found some info noting that the "mugu guymen" is apparentl a bunch of hackers (from Nigeria or Africa?) who search guestbooks and steal all email addresses listed there, then send spam to those addresses.
		The info also says that if there is a "mugu" posting on the site, then the guestbook is identified as "already captured" for other mugu guys.
		Other notes: Apparrently, the mugu guys are the ones who send all those spam letters about "I have $50 mill I need to transfer and will split it with you."
