Mulgoa today has gone full circle, from the early farming, vineyards and orchards, to the guest houses of the first part of the twentieth century, it is now an area of extensive hobby and general farming, with some tourist through traffic.

David and Olive came to the parish from the rural Diocese of Armidale, in northern New South Wales.
Olive Lloyd said that the Mulgoa Bush Fire Brigade captain is a member of the Mulgoa parish, and she learned that he and his wife were both fighting to save the rectory.
They had ministered there in the towns of Tenterfield, West Tamworth and Warialda before coming to Sydney to the multi-centred parish of Mulgoa.

 Schoenstatt-Bewegung: Begegnungen am Ursprungsort
On Saturday, October 23rd, representatives from Western Australia, Queenlsland, Victoria, Australian Capital Territory, and New South Wales will install a Father Symbol in the Father room of the Joseph Kentenich House by the National Shrine at Mulgoa.
Two highlights are planned in conjunction with a reliving of the celebration of the Jubilee of May 31st in Chile, and looking forward to the coming Year of Jubilee, 2000.
This has been planned as a mark of solidarity with our international family as the Father Symbol is installed in the Founder Chapel.
