  Arthur Mullard Information
Arthur Mullard (born on November 10, 1913, in Islington, North London) was a British comedy actor.
Mullard's distinctive "ugly mug" appearance and particular variety of cockney accent lent itself to a certain character and pretty soon he graduated to more visible roles in comedy films and on television.
It was on television where Arthur Mullard truly made a name for himself, firstly as a straight man for the likes of Tony Hancock, Frankie Howerd and Benny Hill.

Mullard was founded by Captain S.R. Mullard in 1920 and was from the beginning one of the finest tube manufacturers in the world.
Mullard tubes have a rich, warm, presentation that still supplies all of the detail and information that any "state of the art" tube does but with a suave European flavor that is perfect for many of today's more forward systems.
Mullard is one of the few tubes that have the almost magical ability to separate the noise from the music, and the ability to present the two in different places on the soundstage.

Chris Mullard and black radicalism in Newcastle 1968-1973
Mullard's frustration was not merely occasioned by the presence of racism within society, for any manner of political conclusions could have been drawn from that fact.
Mullard's own experience as a professional community relations activist - a period of constant internal sniping and conflict - could hardly have challenged views which he had already begun to form by the late 1960s, that is before accepting the post.
Mullard also ran shy from exploring whether the strategies of Black rebellion that he favoured, could be achieved only through Black-run independent groups, or whether there was any basis for action in alliance with authentic white radicals (if they existed).
