I read that Mullica River has pit toilets and fresh water so I might be able to sell her on that one.
Mullica River and Lower Forge are wilderness sites, access by hiking, canoeing or by horseback; motor vehicles are not permitted.
The halfway point is the wilderness campsite called the 'Mullica River Campsite.' The funny part is, even though they say no cars, anyone with a park map and common sense can figure out how to drive up Quaker Bridge Rd. to where the trail to the campsite leads.

The Mullica is narrow and twists and turns underneath a canopy of New Jersey's finest pines glistening with the blinding white of fresh snow, while it winds through semi-frozen marshes and over fallen logs and beaver ponds.
A gentle BW river, the Mullica is nevertheless technically challenging due to its narrowness coupled with twists and turns at every angle.
In addition, there are numerous fallen logs and stumps just beneath the water to contend with, fully hidden (until the person in front of you is atop one) due to the murkyness of the ferrous laden water.
