	Multitap doesnt work
		The red ligh ton the multitap didnt light up- a sign that it is on multiplayers mode instead of dvd - but none of the slots work.
		I even try to plug the multitap into the second controller slot but it produced the same result.
		As I stated, the ps2, ps2 multitap, Champions of Norrath, and 2 of the controllers in used are bought and open from its original package less than 10 days ago

		The multitap for the PS2 is extremly cool looking, and very useful for the games.
		The only negative aspect about it is that the cord, which attaches the Multitap to the PS2, is only 3 inches long.
		This is ok if you use your PS2 in the horizontal position, but if you use it in the vertical position then the cord is not long enough for the Multitap to lay flat on the floor, which leaves it hanging from the PS2.

	Sony Playstation 2 Multitap Reviews
		My one other complaint is that if I plug in the multitap to play a game with mutliplayer options, then switch to a game that does not, I have to unplug the multitap and plug just the controller back into the PS2 in order for that second game to recognize the controller.
		The cord that connects the multitap to the PS2 is very short, not even a foot long, so if your PS2 is on some table and you dont have space to place your multitap then you might have a problem.
		If it were a little longer, I could place the multitap neatly on top of my PS2 or neatly on the side of it, etc. but it's so short, it has to just dangle there.

		All of the multiplayer games are going to support more than two people and let's face it, it's a hell of lot more fun to play against 3 other people than just one.
		All you do is put that thing on the end of a cord(which looks sort of like a memory card) into the socket and you can move up to 30 feet away from the playstation,and play in complete relaxation.

		We only carry the new one at Best Buy (the memory card ports are closer to the controller ports on the new two) that doesn't fit in the older models.
		Location: San Francisco, CA I know the old multitap works fine with the PStwo model if you unscrew the connector, pull the bottom plug out of its "place" and then screw it back together.
		Might work with the new multitaps and the old PS2s.

		WHY you ask so that when unexpected drunk visiters arive at 3am you can entertain them with a 4 player game of FIFA 2001 to relax and motivate them to get the hell out your house.
		ONE word of warning it does not work on old PSX games unless you have the old PSX multitap.

		I recently bought the new ps2 from my local wal-mart with the intent of playing 4 player split screen with my friends on ATV Offroad Fury 3 after my original ps2 quit working.
		My hopes of owning my friends at one of my favorite games quickly fell when I found that my multitap for my original ps2 was NOT compatible with my new ps2.
		This seemes like a very stupid decision by the sony team to not have the original multitap compatible with the new ps2.

	Problems installing PS1 multitap
		We plugged it inot the Player 2 port, and plugged controllers into the multitap.
		We even plugged a single controller into the Player 1 port, and the multitap (with controllers attached) into the Player 2 port.
		I had a non-Sony PSX Multitap that would not work with Crash Team Racing either, I put it down to not being a Sony one as it worked with every other game I through at it.

		If you want to be able to spend some time having fun with your kids doing something that they really enjoy, get this Multitap, a game that the whole family can play together and enough controllers for everyone.
		The multitap is great, it hooks into one memory card slot and a controller slot, and lets you have 4 extra players playing, and if you get a second one, you can have up to eight!
		This however means you have to buy extra controllers, but the fact that the Psone controllers are compatible comes in handy.
