In collaboration with the municipalities, the Violence Protection Commission is also aiming to develop measures for organizing events (Mardi Gras, annual fairs, etc.) and to make them mandatory for event organizers, for the purpose of improving the efficiency of the protection of minors and reducing youth violence in the space and time surrounding these events.

Members commended Switzerland and Liechtenstein for their active participation in the multilateral trading system, with several welcoming their support for the launching of a new round of negotiations with a broad agenda; they appreciated the continued role played by Switzerland as the host country for the WTO.
The active participation of Switzerland and Liechtenstein in the WTO seems to me to be central to their trade liberalization efforts.

The campaign is conducted under the watchword „Have the courage to educate", and thus reflects the conviction underlying the Government’s anti-drug policy that the drug problem is in the first place a challenge to adults, who must live up to their responsibility for education in relation to drugs as well as in other areas.

Today and on Sunday morning Liechtenstein votes about the fate of Prince and people, thus in favour of the constitutional reforms by Prince Hans Adam II (the Princely Initiative) or against it.
The Prince also wants to be able to over-ride the constitution and give the royal family the right to choose the princely succession, but would grant the people the option of calling a referendum to abolish the monarchy.
In all 15 Liechtenstein municipalities the Princely Initiative was accepted, with most division in the municipality of Balzers where it only got 51,8% of the votes, while the Princely Initiative got 73% of the votes in Gamprin.

The right to appoint people in ecclesiastical functions in five of the Liechtenstein municipalities will now go to the Archbishop of Vaduz, presently Wolfgang Haas, who has been appointed by Pope John Paul II.
