  Salem Pioneer Cemetery Burial Details
Smith was very weak from loss of blood when he reached the jail, and he soon after fell into a profound slumber from which he did not awake until about 1 o’clock, when the cell was unlocked and he was turned out into the corridors for a little exercise.
Smith was identified with the growth of Rochester for a good long lifetime, gave birth to the first pair of twins born in that city, and dipped the candles which were used in illuminating upon the occasion of its incorporation as a city, an event which was joyfully celebrated.
Smith passed the succeeding years with relatives and friends, in different states of the Union, having traveled thousands of miles, until 1870, when, having reached the age of 84 years, she came to Oregon and has since resided with her son, Fabritus R. Smith a highly esteemed citizen of Salem.

Smith, with 73 yards on three receptions, and Jarrett, with 42 on four, were favored receivers.

Sure, the movie is a bit dated, but the acting is great, ranging from Charles Laughton's tipsy butler, C. Aubrey Smith's blustery and brave admiral, to a very funny bit involving Cedric Hardwicke as a Cockney plumber and a silent Buster Keaton as his assistant.
As the film begins, the Nazis are bombing London and an American visitor, Gates T. Pomfret (Kent Smith), journeys into the city searching for a house his father owns and that the current boarder, Lesley Trimble (Ruth Warrick), wishes to purchase.
However, on the wall of the house, the portrait of C. Aubrey Smith, head master and founder of the house, remains intact and shows England's durability during its darkest hours.
