  RPGnet: Review of Murchad's Legacy
The ENnie nominated Murchad’s Legacy (ML) is a d20 fantasy campaign setting that takes a lot of the standard fantasy tropes and gives them a bit of a twist.
Murchad’s Legacy isn’t a 256-page bodice ripper or anything, most of it is about orcs and the slaying thereof, but there is a very human side to the writing.
Murchad’s Legacy is a fine addition to anyone with a penchant for campaign settings.

Murchad’s Legacy is original, the NPCs have solid motives, the nations are clearly defined but not “cookie cutter”, and best of all, you can win.
His father died when he was a child and they had to appoint a regent, Murchad, to govern while he was growing up.
Murchad was very popular and was perceived as doing a good job, so few were willing to see him go when Almagaid was old enough to take the throne.

In 1124, Murchad was deposed as King of Corcu Duibne and banished from Munster by King Cormac III MacCarthy, but appears to have unsuccessfully attempted to regain control of his territories.
The displacement of the Uí Séaghdha from control of Corcu Duibne, and the installation of the Uí Falibhe (O'Falveys) in their place by Cormac, was the beginning of several decades of blood feud between the O'Sheas and O'Falveys.
The ouster of Murchad appears to have been the catalyst for the exodus of the chiefly line of the O'Sheas eastward, where they eventually settled in the counties of Tipperary and Kilkenny.
