Plot summary and comments: 1 Murder is committed in one of the sleeping compartments on the Istanbul-Calais coach of the famous Orient Express train; almost the entire action takes place in that coach and in the restaurant car following.
The story takes place on the unusually crowded Orient Express (A prestigious Euroean train), which is forced to stop practically in the middle of nowhere because of a snow storm, and nobody can get in or out of it, again, because of the storm.
The murder is commited sometime in the night, and on the next day, Hercule Poirot, Monsieur Bouc (Poirot's friend, and manager of the train company), and Dr. Constantine (another one of Poirot's friends) start questioning the suspects (in this case, everybody) and looking for evidence.

Murder On the Orient Express is a third person adventure game where you play a woman, Antoinette Marceau, who is an employee on the very train line that the murder is committed on.

This novel is widely feted as Christies masterpiece, due to the fact it is the most dramatised, but it does not comapre to 'The ABC murders' or 'And Then There Were None', or even 'The Murder Of Roger Ackroyed', that said it is one of the most devious.

The famed Orient Express is set to leave Istanbul and all the familiar faces are there, from Samuel Ratchett, right through the varied list of travellers, down to Pierre Michel, the Conductor, plus several other railway employees who may or may not come from the book, I can't exactly remember.
As we all know murder tends to follow in M. Poirot's footsteps, but on this journey he doesn't do much footstepping as he's indisposed early on in the proceedings.
Agatha Christie: Murder on the Orient Express is divided into three parts, four if you count the introduction where there are a few things for Antoinette to take care of before boarding the train.
