The National Museums of Scotland (NMS) are blessed with an excellent collection of Ancient Egyptian artefacts.
In order to find out more about the collection, and also to assess the conservation required, a 4 year project was initiated to investigate fully various items from the collection.

That was so nice because they had many items on display, such as utensils used by the architect of New Town, machines used in printing, paintings, models of what Edinburgh used to look like, etc. We made our way down the street towards Holyrood Palace to see the new Parliament building.
