Music Camp was conceived in 1950 by Dr. Jack Swartz, an NAU Music Professor.
NAU Music Camp continues to offer young musicians 1-2 weeks of musical excitement on "The Mountain Campus." Instructors are chosen from all over the country for their enthusiasm for working with young musicians.
On the last Saturday of each camp, music students perform for family and friends at the formal recitals held in Ardrey Auditorium, a state-of-the-art performance hall on the NAU campus.
