Despite the title of the disc, you should go elsewhere if it is a flavour of Estonian music you are seeking (try any of the BIS Tubin discs).
The music on this disc features interesting combinations of clarinet, bassoon and harp and, in the final piece Variations on Mozart’s aria "O dolce Concento", all these instruments plus an alto clarinet (a picture of which in the booklet suggests it has the shape of an overgrown saxophone).
Two other works on the disc take their themes from Rossini and, indeed, there is nothing very original about the music itself but the combination of instruments is unusual and pleasing on the ear.

Heinavanker - Loomiselaul (The Creation) - Sacred Music from Estonia
What is the relationship between the solemn contrapuntal masterpieces of the Renaissance, reflecting that era‘s courtly, religious and scientific spirit, the meditative monophonic monastic music of the middle ages and, unique to the small Estonian population, the characteristic sacred choral pieces with their strong folk influence and their vitality, reflecting the people‘s earlier religious awakening?
The corner stone of Johannes Ockeghem‘s (1417-1497) inspiring and difficult to define music is an extraordinary balance between hidden mathematical constructions and the apparently spontaneous melody lines which they help construct, but which nevertheless remain unexpected.
Under the patronage of the Evangelical Seminar, the Maulbronn Monastery Cloister Concerts were instigated in 1968 with an abundance of musical enthusiasm and voluntary leadership.
