Arlan N. Schultz is assistant professor of music, composition and theory at the University of Lethbridge.
Ed Wasiak is the music specialist for the Faculty of Education at the University of Lethbridge.
He was very active in Saskatchewan's music community for many years and served in numerous capacities, most notably as the primary author of Band 10, 20, 30 Curriculum Requirements, released by the provincial government in 1993 and as publications editor and later president of the Saskatchewan Band Association.

As an enthusiastic advocate of new music McIntyre was one of the founders and directors of Regina’s Festival of New Music.
Saskatchewan musician Marguerita Spencer was for many years one of the few prairie composers represented on music store shelves, conservatory examination lists and in festival syllabi.
She attended the Academy of Music at the Halifax Ladies College and returned home to teach music, play the pipe organ at church and to accompany the silent films at a local movie house.
