Daphne du Maurier lived in Cornwall and set many of her novels there, including Jamaica Inn, Frenchman's Creek, My Cousin Rachel, and The House on the Strand.
Rebecca is sometimes said to be set in Cornwall, but this is not stated explicitly in the novel.
