However, Mystra can change how spells work and decides how they take hold of the W, and if this spell doesn't exist, it just can't have any effect despite whatever you do (or that now, the spell must be cast this way to take hold of the Weave).
Since Mystra governs spells, it means she can also disallow spells like Rend Weave to be permitted into the realms (since it threatens the integrity of the W).
Mystra can meddle with the affairs of other races deities of magic because she is the deity of the weave too.
