	National Fantasy Fan Federation
		The National Fantasy Fan Federation (N3F or NFFF) is one of the world's oldest fandom organizations.
		The organization was founded in April 1941 when all science fiction, horror, and fantasy literature was lumped into one category called "fantasy." The group actively encourages the development of writers, editors, and artists.
		The N3F has a president, treasurer, secretary and directorate which handles the day-to-day operation of the club's business.

		I was introduced to the club by Owen Laurian who, besides being a comics fan, was very active with N3F and SF fandom.
		In the AW I printed a list of artists who would do art for fanzines and printed samples of their art, that immediately souped up the look of TNFF, and the editor of Tightbeam immediately started crying that he should get art from AW too.
		N3F is a club of constantly shifting membership and the times were hard monetarily.

	Interview with Catherine Mintz
		Catherine: Fandom has taught me a wide range of skills, from how to deal comfortably with people with radically different viewpoints and interests, to how publications are laid out by hand and by computer, as well as, many other things useful and arcane.
		Catherine: Currently, I am assisting with the N3F Short Story Contest, the heading, the selection committee for the Kaymar Award -- lifetime achievement in the N3F -- and doing special projects, such as the club's 60th anniversary celebration at the 2001 Worldcon.

		Tightbeam 167 Jan 1991, This piece ended up as the back cover of another fanzine after it was printed by N3F.
		Tightbeam 24 (numbering questioned) May 1980 Ten years earlier than the first shot, i was obsessed with Gordon Dickson, Dorsai and starship Troopers.
		He had a couple N3F cover, but was never a member, I usually inked the submissions.
