 How to Get There
This road just veers off again from the main road, you will recognise it as there is a telephone pole standing on the grass patch between the two roads (THIS IS ROUGHLY 4 MILES FROM THE CROSSROADS).
You will know the road by the telephone pole (I'm pretty sure this is the only right hand side road you can take on the way, but I could be wrong).
You then come to Victoria Cross stay to the right for the Straight Road On the left hand side of this road you will pass the County hall, Motorworld and Coca Cola then there is a rugby pitch, then a GAA pitch and then Casement Park.

The road to Glengarriff was being beaten up by some pretty heavy construction but we got through OK. Despite heavy overcast, the ride is wonderful.

The Ballycasheen Road is, in essence, a suburban road which connects the Muckross Road (N71) with the N22 (Killarney-Cork) National Primary Road - in addition to extensive frontage development it contains several small modern housing estates.
Ballycasheen Road is straight with a dotted centre line and double yellow lines along its northern side - there is a footpath on the northern side but not on the southern side.
The road is subject to a 30mph speed limit and he points out that the junction was approved by the Killarney Town Engineer.
