The NAACP Image Award is an award presented annually by the American National Association for the Advancement of Colored People to honor outstanding people of color and only of color in film, television, music, and literature.
Similar to other awards, like the Oscars and the Grammys, the 35 categories of Image Awards are voted on by members of the NAACP.
The awards series is currently broadcast (on tape delay) on the Fox Network.

I pretty much only watch award shows for the performances but I just may tune in this year for the Black Peeple's Awards...oops I mean the NAACP Image Awards*.
I mean they award her for her crappy role in Swordfish last year and won't even give her props for being the first fl Bond Girl ever.
