	Keirsey Temperment Test - @forums
		There seem to be a lot of NFs on this board, especially INFJs, which is odd, since we represent only 1% of the general population.
		NFs are the personality type most interested in themselves, in their own development and evolution.
		Thus, NFs (and INFJs in particular), are the type most likely to take (and post the results of) a temperament test.

		One of the conclusions was we needed projects with NTs, without considering the value of the NFs, the SJs, or the SPs.
		In response to the author's recommendations of NF's (iNtuitive Feelers) as project managers I think they have done exactly the opposite of what is taught in MBTI training, namely not to use MBTI as a sterotype by placing individuals in a particular box based on their type.
		The authors attribute the low performance to a Feeling preference, when it might be that those with a Feeling preference were predominantly NF's or ENF's or something else.

		I took the Keirsey Temperment Sorter II and I have to say that I felt like I was taking a quiz in an issue of Seventeen Magazine.
		It’s hard to answer such broad and ambiguous questions when two terse and often completely inaccurate answers are given from which I had to choose.
		The Idealist (NF) learning style, in contrast to the structured Guardian, the scientific Rational, or the competitive Artisan, can be summed up as "cooperative." The Idealist is looking for a way to communicate with others in a personal way.

		For some reason, the two iNtuiting temperments are separated according to the deciding preference--Thinking/Feeling--but the two Sensing temperments are separated according to the lifestyle preference--Judging/Sensing.
		One way to understand the four temperments is to analyze the values of people from each temperment.
		More than any other temperment, NFs have to have a "home base" of relationships in their lives; as a result, the institution of the family takes a very high preference in their lives.

	Red Cedars -- Who I Am
		I myself have taken the Temperment Sorter numerous times and get varying results, but normally fall into the iStP (Artisan / Craftsman) category.
		Individuals who are primarily Intuitive / Feeling (NF) are considered "Idealist" types.
		By sorting all this out into the 16 possible sub-types, a picture begins to form of the individuals temperment.

		However, I feel the defintion of your Diplomatic player is much too broad - I don't believe players that enjoy abstract/experimental games have any natural tendency to also be more polite or considerate to fellow players, or to favor narrativistic games.
		I'm sure you can find many examples of players that would fit an NF type, yet be strongly agonistic in their tastes for games (one example that immediately springs to mind is the North Ireland Quaker that loves Quake, from Gerard Jones' "Killing Monsters: Why Children Need Fantasy Violence" book.)
		You're right, of course, that one can be strongly Idealist (NF) and still enjoy agon.
