NGC 2146 is a peculiar spiral galaxy which is currently undergoing a major burst of star formation and is immersed in a extended HI structure that has morphological and kinematical resemblence to a strong tidal interaction.
The fact that Space Telescope WFPC2 images of the planetary nebula NGC 6537 fails to show the central star is used to derive a limit to its magnitude; it is fainter than a magnitude of 22.4 in the visible.
We have observed the nearly face-on spiral galaxy NGC 5668 with the TAURUS II Fabry-Perot interferometer at the William Herschel Telescope using the Halpha line to study the kinematics of the ionized gas.

Taken together, this qualitatively agrees with theoretical calculations of a third dredge-up event having occurred in NGC 6537, NGC 6302 and He2-111.
The single exception to this is NGC 6741, in which Mg is depleted by a factor of 14.

We report the relative abundance of atomic and molecular hydrogen (HI) from the Young Planetary Nebulae NGC 2440, 2452, 6302, Hb5, NGC 6537, 7026 and 7027 using the VLA (1984 RMxAA, 9, 153)[6].
We report the observations of HI from NGC 2440 and 6302 in order to determine if the HI was associated or not with the nebulae.
HI is associated with NGC 6302 but it is not associated with NGC 2440 (1985 RMxAA, 11, 109)[8].

Precise (1" or better) positions have been determined or verified for all the planetary nebulae appearing the NGC and IC catalogues.
Despite publication in 1990 of the "Strasbourg-ESO Catalogue of Planetary Nebulae", many of the objects there are given with either imprecise or simply incorrect coordinates.
The best published position for the open cluster (also NGC 2818) is in the ESO/Uppsala Survey of the ESO (B) Atlas, first listed by Holmberg et al.
