TIRUCHI: The National Institute of Technology-Tiruchi (NIT-T) will organise a finishing school programme during May - June for enhancing employability of engineering graduates, its Director, M. Chidambaram said.
The pilot programme will be for a period of eight weeks on weekdays with a total input for 240 hours at eight institutions nationwide - IIT, Rourkela and NITs at Calicut, Durgapur, Jaipur, Kurushetra, Suratkal, Tiruchi and Warangal.
He hoped that the initiative would help in bridging the manpower supply-demand gap by at least 30 to 40 per cent.
