 | | Once a nonpublic school has been identified by the Nonpublic School Approval Branch (NSAB) as demonstrating serious, uncorrected area(s) of noncompliance or repeated inability and/or unwillingness to comply with applicable regulations, the Department shall implement intensive efforts to enforce corrective action(s) for compliance with the regulations. |
 | | When the Department identifies a school as failing to comply with requirements in COMAR 13A.09.09, the NSAB may conduct scheduled (written notice provided), or unscheduled (verbal notice may be provided the day before the visit), or unscheduled/unannounced (no notice provided) onsite monitoring visit(s). |
 | | After monitoring at the Department or a scheduled, unscheduled, or unscheduled/unannounced onsite monitoring visit at the school, the NSAB shall send a written report of the findings to the Administrative Head and Chief Officer of the Legal Authority of the school. |
