NSW is at the limits of its available water resources.
The NSW Government has introduced a package of Water Reforms aimed at achieving a better balance in sharing of water between all water users and the environment.
This includes NSW Daily River Reports based on pre-formatted flow and height reports for selected river catchments, as well as NSW Storage Reports containing collated information for all DLWC water storages for the last week, as well as other important information.

To obtain a PWC licence, or to upgrade an existing General Boating Licence, you must attend a NSW Maritime Office or complete a seminar and successfully answer PWC licence test questions (a fee applies).
This means that PWC are required to be operated generally in a straight line within 200m of the shoreline.
In all other navigable waters, other than (1) and (2), and including all of the NSW coast, ‘irregular driving’ is not permitted within 200m of the shoreline where one or more dwellings are visible within 200m of that shore.
