Naghadeh (in Kurdish: Nexede, in Persian: نقده, is a city in northwestern Iran with 74,821 inhabitants [1], 23 km southeast of Lake Urmia about 1,300 metres above sea level.
Naghadeh is an ancient area which was the capital of some ancient Aryan civilizations speacially in Teppe Hasanlu area (a rural town 10 km northeast to Naghadeh).
Naghadeh has several cultural and recreational attractions like "hewt kany" and "Sultan Yaghoob".
