I think you'll be able to tell this is my first time *blushes* Die Hard: Nakatomi Plaza received lackluster reviews and a fairly negative response from gamers, but I'm a fan of the movie and the game itself is something of a novelty; I've never come across anything like it.
Nakatomi Plaza originally started as a Half Life mod, but Fox Interactive bought it and the game transferred to the Lithtech engine.
Each level is not contained in one giant model of the tower.

Released in April 2002 by Fox Interactive, Die Hard: Nakatomi Plaza puts you in the bare feet of New York police officer John McClane during the events of the first Die Hard movie.
The FPS allows the player to live the movie almost exactly as McClane did and even throws in a lot of side adventures and floors not explored in the film.
In segment 1: Nakatomi Plaza, I crouch through the elevator doors.

Fox Plaza - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
Fox Plaza is a 150 m (492 foot) high skyscraper with 34 floors in Century City, Los Angeles, California, a local landmark.
The Fox Plaza is the actual building used for the Nakatomi Plaza, a fictional office building that is the setting of the first Die Hard movie starring Bruce Willis.
The apparent destruction of the building in the film was accomplished by Richard Edlund using scale model pyrotechnic effects.

This time, the scene is no longer the Nakatomi Tower in Los Angeles, but Dulles International Airport in Washington D.C., where a group of terrorists (it's always terrorists in these films) led by the renegade Colonel Stewart (William Sadler) has taken command of the runways and control tower.
Unless their demands, which include the immediate release of the drug lord on his way to the United States for trial, are met, Stewart's band intends to start crashing planes.
The confines of the Nakatomi tower have been widened, although most of the action still takes place in the limited area of Dulles Airport.

IGN: Die Hard: Nakatomi Plaza Review
The use of this kind of language is probably offensive to some gamers and, while most of it is kind of gratuitous, it does add an air of immediacy and intensity to the game.
The team has recreated the entire Nakatomi Plaza tower for this game, even the places not shown in the film.
From the helipad on the roof to the rat-infested sewers, each level of Nakatomi Plaza is well designed.

Two years after the mayhem at Nakatomi Tower, we find John McClane traveling to Washington, DC, once again on Christmas week, to spend the holiday with his wife Holly and their kids and the home of his in-laws.
The ante is upped this time, as an elite group of former military commandos led by Col. Stuart (William Sadler, in a knockout performance) take over the airport’s tower (radar equipment, runway lights and all), endangering the passengers of over a dozen planes, in an attempt to rescue drug lord General Ramon Esperanza (Franco Nero).
