  Nalgonda Technique
There is a need to improve the Nalgonda technique to achieve a higher removal efficiency, because in some cases where the inlet concentration is very high you can sometimes only get the fluoride concentration down to 3 mg/l, which is a completely unacceptable level for use in households.
The first step show the removal by the Nalgonda technique, the next step show how much fluoride has adsorbed by bone char of the water, which comes first out of the bucket, the next step show that this concentration rise and show the removal by bone char of the water, which comes out last.
However, the Nalgonda technique is an effective method for removing fluoride, but as already mentioned there are some problems, which has to be looked in to, to improve it.
