Noshahr is composed of two distinct parts: mountainous areas which are cold and dry with long snow-covered winters and flatland areas which are mild at the seaside and humid.
Several rivers pass across the Noshahr area, quenching its agricultural lands before joining the Caspian Sea; the most important of them are the klakaroodsar, Namakabrood, Hechirood, Sardabrood, Galanderood and Amirrood.
Mild weather and pleasant temperatures, extensive wood-land areas, good drinking water and safe sandy beaches make Noshahr and ideal for lovers of the sea and sun in the summer and seekers of rest and recreation in other seasons.
