Naoto Oshima recently expressed his views on the new game, Vampire's Rain, to the readers of Famitsu.
Mr Oshima, who also produced Sonic the Hedgehog, said he wants Vampire's Rain to be really scary.
He believes that recently vampires have become 'cool' rather than scary and he would like to bring back the reason why vampires are so scary.

It becomes far too easy to mess up and keep dying over and over- for less skilled gamers, interpret that to say 'RENT FIRST'.
Naoto Oshima created the orange bugger, and interestingly he also designed Sonic the Hedgehog.
In fact the visual style throughout this game, from the design of menu's to the style of art throughout the game reminded me of classic Sega.

Naoto Oshima, Sonic's original artist and assistant in level design had left Sonic Team shortly after the completion of the first Sonic Adventure.
Apparently, Oshima had wanted to create and head his own small software company.
So, when compared to the current work of the company he left, Oshima's newest contribution to the world of furry-game characters leaves me very impressed.
