Narain Karthikeyan on Saturday had a first-hand experience of the technically demanding Hockenheim circuit as he came off the track at the first corner and ended up 19th on the grid for the German Grand Prix.

This is the one circuit where Narain karthikeyan has never driven before - so he says he really has no clue who it will go for him.

Anyway the testing has been going on at full swing - both new parts for the car and the new compounds for the tyres.
Seems our man had an electrical problem.

“It is really a pity I had to retire in the race as I made a really good start and I managed to overtake a few cars.
Karthikeyan finished 15th on his debut for Jordan at the season-opening race in Melbourne earlier this month and credited Indian batsman Tendulkar for helping him keep his feet on the ground.

"Sachin Tendulkar is a very big fan of Formula One and I'm good friends with him," Karthikeyan said on Thursday.
