naruto was going gaga with a knife going through a tree.
Cuz seriously, the manga does NOT spend enough time on Naruto and co. being normal shinobi and carrying out missions, everything in the manga tries to force everything into one funneled plot without anything to do on the sides.
I find it hard to believe that there were 0 missions they went on from the end of the wave country arc to the beginning of the sound 4 arc.
