		Nasir Jones, Long Island City, Queens, New York City September 14, 1973) is an American rapper, best known for his landmark release, Illmatic, widely considered one of the best rap albums of the 1990s.
		He is son of Olu Dara and Ann Jones.
		Jay-Z rapped about Nas on "Takeover", claiming to have had sex with the mother of his daughter, Destiny Jones, and teasing Nas for not having put out a hot album since Illmatic.
