The Coliseum was also only one of only two US venues chosen to perform in their limited run of shows in support of their 1979 album The Wall in February of 1980.

Nassau Veterans Memorial Coliseum in Long Island, NY - AOL City Guide
Officially named the Nassau Veterans Memorial Coliseum, commonly known as the Nassau Coliseum, and affectionately/derisively dubbed the Nassau Mausoleum, this arena on the Hempstead Turnpike in Uniondale, New York, is the long-time home of the NHL's New York Islanders.
While Nassau has played host to many concerts and other big events, the color scheme makes the place look darker than it is, seating is cramped and not the most comfortable by any means.
The good news is that, because of its small capacity, lack of low-level luxury boxes and fairly steep seating, the Coliseum has some of the best sight-line views in the NHL -- except for the far upper deck, that is. The biggest mistake you could make is to purchase the rearmost seats there.
