With that thought the National Outdoor Leadership School was launched in March of 1965.
The Lander, Wyo. based National Outdoor Leadership School has trained some 75,000 people around the world from 11 base locations on five continents over the past 40 years, and it's taking just a little time this week to celebrate its successes.

The National College for School Leadership (NCSL) suggests schools should consider job shares for head teachers in an effort to head off what it describes as the "demographic time-bomb".
One such school is Hastingsbury upper school and community college in Bedford, where joint head Julia Wynd explained to the Independent: "Co-headship really does reduce the loneliness of the job."
According to the NCSL, 20 schools already have two head teachers and the organisation is now calling for more schools to adopt what it considers to be a more "flexible' approach".
