 National Collegiate Athletic Association (NCAA) regulations ::
In order to be eligible for intercollegiate athletics competition, student-athletes must be in good academic standing as defined by their respective institution.
Student-athletes are allowed ten (10) nonconsecutive semesters within which to complete four seasons of intercollegiate athletics competition in a sport.
These student-athletes are denied the opportunity either to practice or compete during their initial year of enrollment but, depending on NCAA regulations are eligible for non athletics financial aid if, such aid is granted without regard to athletics ability.
