Any person that causes environmental damage by contravening the provisions made in or pursuant to this Act is liable to pay compensation regardless of any fault on his part for economic loss resulting from the environmental damage.
The amount of the environmental compensation to be paid is set on the basis of the value of what has been damaged, the extent and duration of the environmental damage, the fault of the offender, other sanctions imposed on the offender and the general circumstances.
If the compensation claim is brought before a court in a criminal case, civil action or complaint against execution proceedings, the court may conduct a full trial of the compensation claim.

 National Environmental Policy Act
The Council on Environmental Quality developed Regulations For Implementing the Procedural Provisions of the National Environmental Policy Act (40 C.F.R. Part 1500, Sec 1500.1(b) of this guidance requires that provisions must be made to insure that environmental information is available to public officials and citizens before decisions are made and before actions are taken.
Environmental assessments are normally prepared for other Corps actions except for certain minor and/or routine actions, which are categorically excluded from NEPA documentation.
The Office of Environmental Quality (OEQ), which was established in 1970, by the Environmental Quality Improvement Act, (Public Law 91-224) (42 USC 4371 et seq), provides staff for the Council.

Environmental implementation plans and management plans.—(1) Every national department listed in Schedule 1 as exercising functions which may affect the environment and every province must prepare an environmental implementation plan within one year of the promulgation of this Act and at least every four years thereafter.
Model environmental management bylaws.—(1) The Minister may make model bylaws aimed at establishing measures for the management of environmental impacts of any development within the jurisdiction of a municipality, which may be adopted by a municipality as municipal bylaws.
(b) Environmental management must be integrated, acknowledging that all elements of the environment are linked and interrelated, and it must take into account the effects of decisions on all aspects of the environment and all people in the environment by pursuing the selection of the best practicable environmental option.

 NATIONAL ENVIRONMENTAL PROTECTION MEASURE
Section 14 of the National Environment Protection Council Act 1994 and the equivalent provision of the corresponding Act of each participating State and Territory provides for the making of measures by the National Environment Protection Council and the matters to which they relate.
The goal of the Measure is to reduce environmental degradation arising from the disposal of used packaging and conserve virgin materials through the encouragement of re-use and recycling of used packaging materials by supporting and complementing the voluntary strategies in the National Packaging Covenant.
The National Packaging Covenant is an agreement entered into by governments and industry participants in the packaging chain based on the principles of product stewardship and shared responsibility.

The National Environmental Policy Act, 1969 (Public Law 91 – 184) (NEPA) is a landmark legislation that requires all Federal Government agencies that interpret and administer United States policies, regulations, and public laws to follow nine rules.
All species obtained or transported in violation of the Act and all property used are subject to forfeiture to the U.S. The Secretaries may promulgate regulations to enforce the Act and may charge reasonable fees connected with permits or certificates and the care of seized specimens and evidentiary items.
A person who otherwise violates a provision of the Act or a regulation, permit or certificate may be assessed a civil penalty of $500 per violation.

An Act to establish a national policy for the environment, to provide for the establishment of a Council on Environmental Quality, and for other purposes.
The Chairman of the Council on Environmental Quality established by Public Law 91-190 shall be the Director of the Office.
Each Environmental Quality Report required by Public Law 91-190 shall, upon transmittal to Congress, be referred to each standing committee having jurisdiction over any part of the subject matter of the Report.

 National Environmental Policy Act of 1969
Title I of the 1969 National Environmental Policy Act (NEPA) requires that all Federal agencies prepare detailed environmental impact statements for "every recommendation or report on proposals for legislation and other major Federal actions significantly affecting the quality of the human environment.
The 1969 statute stipulated the factors to be considered in environmental impact statements, and required that Federal agencies employ an interdisciplinary approach in related decision-making and develop means to ensure that unquantified environmental values are given appropriate consideration, along with economic and technical considerations.
Title II of this statute requires annual reports on environmental quality from the President to the Congress, and established a Council on Environmental Quality in the Executive Office of the President with specific duties and functions.

The competent authority shall prohibit or stop the activities or implementation of projects for which the environmental impact assessment is negative or for which the mandatory assessment has not been made, or which have not been equipped with the necessary purification and protection equipment.
This Act was submitted to a vote and duly adopted by the Grand National Assembly on October 2nd, 1991 and the State Seal was affixed hereto.
The statements establishing breaches of this Act shall be drowned up by the competent authority as prescribed in the Law for administrative offence and penalty Act under Article 27, and the punishment decrees are issued by the Minister of Environment or persons authorized by him.
