A player is eligible to advance to a national championship if that player has played on that same team in at least three matches through sectional championships.
If a section has a regulation that limits the number of players on a roster that are at a specific level, the section must suspend that regulation for one year for any team that participated at the national championships the previous year and chooses to move up one level.
In other words if you hit your 3rd strike while playing in another division or early start league after your section championship, you will be allowed to advance to nationals.
