Inside the museum proper, it was much quieter than the History Museum, and also smaller, so I spent more time looking at the various sections in detail.

Comments Received From Collectors who have responded to the survey concerning the destruction of stamps by the National Postal
The National Postal Museum should not be concerned with preserving the marketplace value of revenue stamps; they should be doing everything possible to increase the number of present and future people interested in collecting and studying postal related items including revenues.
It is not the mission of the National Postal Museum to manipulate the stamp marketplace in any way, and those few copies of these stamps already in private hands should NOT be a concern to the museum.
I believe they are desirous of hearing from collectors who have the best interest of the hobby and its institutions such as the National Postal Museum in their hearts.
