For example, the President of Ireland's residence, Áras an Uachtaráin, is on the Northside, although its postal district is D8, a Southside number.
The President of Ireland lives in Áras an Uachtaráin, the former residence of the Governor-General of the Irish Free State in the city's largest park, Phoenix Park.

 The National Print Museum of Ireland - Printing in Ireland
The King's Printer was confined to government printing and this led to a few other presses being established in Dublin and the provinces in the middle years of the 17th century.
The principal font of type used was supplied by an Englishman named William Henry West, proprietor of a printing business in Capel St. Because of the sensitive nature of the material and the secrecy surrounding it, the amount of type available was not sufficient and thus, the proclamation was printed in two halves.
This machine which was used in all the major newspaper and printing houses in Ireland, was also the press upon which the 1916 proclamation was printed.

This exhibition of late nineteenth and early twentieth century black and white prints from Sweden is the first of its kind to be shown in Ireland.
The urban landscape became an important subject for artists such as Axel Fridell (1894-1935), one of the most exciting and influential printmakers of the period whose work is represented in this show by a special selection of black and white prints from the renowned personal collection of King Carl XVI Gustaf of Sweden.
Dutch and Flemish artists from the seventeenth century in particular took a great interest in nightscapes, which allowed them to show off their proficiency in painting various light effects in the dark.
