The national family budget survey is a large scale survey carried every four years and is used for establishing the Consumer Price Index, and identifying consumption and income patterns of the population.
The system was used by NSSG for processing the 1994 Survey of Family Budget and has been adapted so that it can be used for future surveys of this type.
In this project IACM researchers provided technical assistance to NSSG in estimating the 1995 national family budget statistics.
