The Jewish Image Awards in Film and Television were were produced by Scott Mauro and written by six-time Emmy Award winner Bruce Vilanch, whose credits include the Academy Awards, Grammy Awards, the Emmy Awards and the Tony Awards.
Jerry Offsay was honored with the Lifetime Achievement Award at the 2nd annual Jewish Image Awards in Film and Television, which recognizes outstanding work reflecting the Jewish heritage through film and television, on Tuesday, September 24, 2002 at The Four Season Hotel Beverly Hills.
During the cocktail ceremony, awards were also presented to productions in film and television that reflect Jewish values and experience.

ATLANTA—The National Wildlife Federation (NWF) this weekend awarded its top international prize to Arcandina, a children's television show in Ecuador that was developed with assistance from The Johns Hopkins University Center for Communication Programs (JHU/CCP) to encourage children and adolescents to become more environmentally responsible.
Arcandina premiered in December 1996 as the first national television show in Ecuador to promote awareness of and mobilize support for environmental conservation among children and adolescents.
The annual National Conservation Achievement Awards, which were issued March 9 at an awards banquet in Atlanta, recognizes programs and people that demonstrate a long-term commitment to conservation and environmental protection.

 COUNTY TELEVISION NETWORK RACKS UP NATIONAL AWARDS
The National Association of Telecommunications Officers and Advisors (NATOA) presented the awards at its annual conference in Atlanta, Ga. NATOA is the professional association of government cable television and access channel regulators and programmers.
County Television Network (CTN), the local government access channel of the County of San Diego, today announced that it received five first place awards in the 13th Annual Government Programming Awards held Friday.
No other large market station in the country won more first place awards in the government access version of the Emmys.
