From 1995 until 1998 Jan Szyrocki was an artistic director and the conductor of the National Theatre Choir in Warsaw.
Very importana event took place in April 1996 when the choir together the choir and orchestra of the National Theatre performed Symphony No.2 'Resurrection' by G. Mahler in the National Theatre in Warsaw under the conduction of J. Semkow.
On 12th January CHAPS together with the soloists and musicians from the Szczecin Philharmonic performed African Sanctus in the National Philharmonic Hall in Warsaw with Jan Szyrocki as a conductor.
