		Bakgrunnen for prosjektet Nye Nationaltheatret stasjon skriver seg fra Norsk jernbaneplan 1994-97, og Stortingets merknader til denne, jf.
		I denne forbindelse vurderer NSB forskjellige metoder som medfører kortere anleggsvirksomhet i dagen, og mulighet for en tidligere reetablering av parken rundt Nationaltheatret, jf.
		Ved at den foreslåtte metoden for bygging av løsmassetunnelen velges kan hele anlegget stå ferdig i begynnelsen av 1999, slik at oppstart av trafikken til/fra Gardermoen heller ikke vil bli driftsmessig berørt i anleggsperioden.

		Nationaltheatret har reagert på dette, og saken er brakt inn for namsretten.
		Nationaltheatret ønsker ikke å ramme Samlerhusets kunder (som allerede har kjøpt myntbrevet) og har derfor inngått forlik med Samlerhuset, som medfører at de allerede solgte myntbrevene ikke vil bli krevet trukket tilbake eller destruert.
		Nationaltheatret presiserer dog at teatret ikke har noen form for ansvar i forbindelse med salget av myntbrevet, og at enhver innvending eller lignende fra kundenes side kan og skal bare rettes til Samlerhuset.

	Nationaltheatret - teater i Oslo
		Nationaltheatret spiller i dag jevnlig forestillinger på fire scener: Hovedscenen, Amfiscenen og Malersalen, som alle holder til i hovedbygningen på Johanne Dybwads plass, og Torshovteatret i Soria Moria-bygningen i Vogts gate.

		I dokumentet vises til at NSB ønsker å utvide Nationaltheatret stasjon fra to til fire jernbanespor, samt å ruste opp og utvide publikumsarealene ved stasjonen til en beregnet kostnad på ca 750 mill.

		Planene og arbeidet med den såkalte Nye Nationaltheatret stasjon bør gravlegges slik at de som frykter en oppgraving av Studenterlunden kan beroliges, og slik at investeringsmidlene og planleggingskapasiteten i NSB overføres til arbeidet med Gamlebyen-tunnelen.

		In the spring 2005 an actors workshop was organized by Nationaltheatret for young actors with non-Nordic or mixed cultural backgrounds.
		The actors were recruited from the Open Scene Projekt, the Nordic Black Theatre and the National Theatre High School.

		The former artistic director of the National Theatre, Stein Winge, initiated the first International Ibsen Stage Festival at Nationaltheatret in the autumn of 1990.
		It was an annual event for the first four years, later being staged every second year.

		Those wanting to get to the Faculty of Law downtown should detrain at the National Theatre station (Nationaltheatret); the law school is on Oslo’s main boulevard (Karl Johans gate).
